Market highlights Week 52/2025 On Global  Coffee Bean Supply & Demand

GREEN BEAN COFFEE:

Brazil:  Projected output is 49.7 million bags of Arabica and 25.9m bags of Robusta. Both Cerrado and Rondonia are expected to produce record amounts of coffee as climatic conditions continue to be nearly ideal across all regions.

Mexico & Central America: The region’s crop is evolving well with promising quality and output. A relatively quiet period will emerge over the next couple of weeks as coffee people take a break for the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Indonesia: Coffee availability for prompt shipment is practically nonexistent. The road to Aceh remains impassable and there are major disruptions to North Sumatra’s main harvest. Exporters are scrambling to negotiate shipment delays and avoid looming defaults. Food and fuel have begun to flow in just enough quantities to Aceh, but availability is limited. Farmers are expecting to reactivate harvesting activities over the next couple of weeks.

Vietnam: Improving climatic conditions have reactivated local coffee flow as local traders seek commercial opportunities. Despite prices softening in response to the London market, producers are showing strong resistance to aggressive selling.
